James Case
James Case is a New England-based painter. Their work explores the line between abstraction and representation, often through still lifes and landscapes. Influenced by Matisse, nature, and everyday household objects, their practice focuses on simplification, flattering shapes, and elevating values.
James Case completed his MFA at Boston University. He currently lives in Londonderry, VT, with his family and two cats. He also writes short stories and designs board games.
