Slab-Build Pottery Class at the Winhall Community Arts Center
Join us for a hands-on pottery experience where you’ll explore the techniques of slab building to create your own unique ceramic pieces. This class is perfect for adults who want to learn foundational pottery skills while making functional and decorative items.
During the session, each participant will craft two handbuilt pieces: a smaller item, such as a soap dish or spoon rest, and a larger piece, like a mug, vase, or sponge holder.
After the class, participants have the option to either:
Return to glaze their own pieces, choosing from a wide variety of colors once the bisque firing is complete, or
Have the instructor glaze the pieces in a choice of 3 finishes if returning isn’t convenient.
