Kids Pottery Class – open to kids ages 6 - 8
In this one-part pottery class, kids will dive into the world of clay. They’ll have the chance to add their own creative touches and glaze up to two pieces, time depending.
This class balances structure with exploration: children will learn hands-on pottery techniques while being encouraged to personalize their work and express their creativity. Students will also be asked to sit comfortably, take their time, and enjoy a calm, creative process. If that’s a challenge for your child, we’ll also be offering other classes with a more active format.
After class, projects will be taken back to the instructor’s studio to dry and be fired twice in the kiln. Once completed, families will be notified, and finished pieces can be picked up at the Winhall Community Arts Center.
