About the event

Join the Bennington County Conservation District for a Vermont Invasive Patrollers Workshop & Paddle, a fun and informative day focused on protecting Vermont’s lakes and ponds.

Sunday, June 21 ~ 9:00-2:30 PM

Participants will learn how to identify aquatic invasive species, explore lake ecology, and discover how community volunteers help monitor and protect local waterways. Following the morning workshop, we’ll head to Gale Meadows Pond for a guided paddle and hands-on survey experience.

Whether you’re a paddler, nature enthusiast, lakefront property owner, angler, or simply someone who cares about Vermont’s natural resources, this workshop offers a great opportunity to learn new skills and get involved.
